Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Wednesday that Türkiye is “closer than ever” to ridding the country of terrorism, expressing confidence that a parliamentary commission will take the right decisions for Türkiye’s security.

Earlier this year, the bloody-minded PKK terror group announced its disarmament and dissolution. In August, Türkiye launched a parliamentary commission to oversee the process.
